The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order by the Village Clerk in the Council
Chamber of the Village Hall on Monday, January 7, 1991 at 8:04 P.M.
The Clerk called the roll and announced that the following were
Present: Marvin Ehlers
James L. Marovitz
Harriet B. Rosenthal
Vernon E. Swanson
J. Robert York
Absent: Bernard Forrest, Mayor
Edwin B. Seidman
and that a quorum was present and in attendance. Also present was
Village Manager Robert Franz.
On a motion by Trustee Marovitz, seconded by Trustee York, and
unanimous vote, Trustee Rosenthal was elected Mayor Pro -Tem.
Trustee Swanson moved, seconded by Trustee Marovitz, that the minutes
of the previous meeting be approved. Motion carried unanimously.
DEERFIELD FEDERAL At the request of the petitioner, the request
SIGN MODIFICATION for a signage modification will remain tabled
until the next meeting.

Ordinance granting Amendment to Special Use -

Resolution permitting work within the State
Right -of -Way.
Trustee Swanson moved, seconded by Trustee Ehlers, that the first
reading of Ordinance 0 -91 -01 be waived. Motion carried unanimously.
Trustee Marovitz moved, seconded by Trustee Swanson, that the Consent
Agenda be approved. Motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: Ehlers, Marovitz, Rosenthal, Swanson, York (5)
NAYS: None (0)

There being no further business, upon motion by Trustee Marovitz,
seconded by Trustee Swanson, the meeting adjourned at 8:09 P.M.
