VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS
RESOLUTION NO. R -05 -1
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SECOND AMENDMENT
TO THE LAKE -COOK ROAD CORRIDOR AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Village of Northbrook and the Village of Deerfield have previously entered
into that certain Lake -Cook Road Corridor Agreement on July 25, 1995, as amended by a certain
First Amendment to Lake -Cook Road Corridor Agreement, to address land use, zoning and
annexation issues within the area generally known as the Lake -Cook Corridor; and,
WHEREAS, Northbrook and Deerfield desire to amend the Baxter South Use and Bulk
Regulations and the LaSalle Use and Bulk Regulations contained in the Lake -Cook Road Corridor
Agreement, as amended, as provided for in a certain Second Amendment to Lake -Cook Road
Corridor Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, Northbrook and Deerfield have the power and authority to enter into this
Second Amendment pursuant to their respective home rule powers, the provisions of Article VII,
Section 10, of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, the Local Land Resource Management Planning Act,
the Illinois Intergovernmental Cooperation Act and Section 11 -12 -9 of the Illinois Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, in
the exercise of its home rule powers, as follows:

SECTION 1: That the Second Amendment to Lake -Cook Road Corridor Agreement, a copy
of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A, be and the same is hereby
approved.
SECTION 2: That the Village President and the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to respectively execute and attest said Second
Amendment to Lake -Cook Road Corridor Agreement for and on behalf of the Village of Deerfield.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval as provided by law.
