03/27/1972298 SPECIAL MEETING March 27, 1972 Pursuant to notice thereof, a special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Monday, March 27, 1972 at 8:15 p.m. The clerk called the roll and reported that the following were Present: Bernard Forrest, President Charles R. Bootz Albert E. Brust George Kelm Werner E. Neuman M. Jay Turner, Jr. Absent: Stephen M. Slavin and that a quorum was present and in attendance at therimeeting. Also present were Messrs. David Newman, representing the Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager. President Forrest state& the Agreement with the Illinois Division of Highways regarding the construction of Waukegan Road improvements at the Deerbrook Shopping Center required the enactment of two ordinances. Ordinance -No Parking An ordinance was presented prohibiting parking Waukegan Road at Deerbrook along Waukegan Road from Lake -Cook Road to (0- 72 -16) I -94 (Edens Expressway) and establishing P penalties for violations. Trustee Kelm moved, seconded by Trustee Bootz, that the rules be waived to permit action on the ordinance at its first presentation. Motion carried unanimously. Trustee,Bootz moved, seconded by Trustee Turner, that the ordinance be passed. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Bootz, Brust, Kelm, Neuman, Turner (5) N ays: None (0) Ordinance- ProhibitnConnection of Sanitary Wastes to Waukegan Storm SEwer at Deerbrook (0- 72 -17) (Edens Expressway) and establishing An ordinance was presented prohibiting the connection of any drain carrying sanitary or industrial wastes to the storm sewer constructed relative to the improvement of Waukegan Road from Lake Cook Road to I -92 penalties for violations. Trustee Kelm moved, seconded by Trustee Bootz, that the rules be waived to permit action on the ordinance.at its first presentation. Motion carried u nanimously. Trustee Bootz then moved, seconded by Trustee Turner, that the ordinance be passed. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Bootz, Brust, Kelm, Neuman, Turner (5) N ays: None (0) Trustee Brust moved, seconded by Trustee Turner, that the above ordinances be published in pamphlet form. Motion carried unanimously. Resolution Authofizing Trustee Bootz moved, seconded by Trustee Kelm, Execution of Agreement that the Resolution be passed authorizing Waukegan Rd. Improvements execution of the Agreement between the (R -72 -6) Village of Deerfield and the State of Illinois, ??- Dapart %epgto6fTransportat$Q nrelating to the improvement of WAukegan Road between Lake -Cook Road and-I-94 (Edens Expressway. Motion carried unanimously. Trustee Brust moved, seconded by Trustee Turner, that consideration of the contract for removal of elm trees be postponed until information is received from the Public Works Department on costs.
