10/25/1965x4490 The manager'reported Mrs. Morelli had been notifed to repaint or remove the sign on Deerfield Road. 1st*Presentation — Ordinance The first presentation was made of Spilling Loads, Drag Racing 8 an ordinance amending sections of Following too Closely the Municipal Code relating to spilling o loads on Streets, and traffic regulations pertaining to following too closely and drag racing, Sections.2O.714, 20,342 and 20.343, respectively. An invitation to a Planning Conference at Northwestern University on October 25, 1965 was received. The request for observation of United Nations Day was referred to the Community Relations Committee. Trustee Forrest suggested that the Youth Council be asked to study a proposal that names be published in certain juvenile cases. Trustee Raff pointed out that newspaper cooperation must be obtained. President Finney stated the Lake County Crime Commission would meet with the Deerfield Youth Counci 1 ;te di *ho -t. President Finney appointed Trustees Smith and Forrest as liasion with the Youth Council. Trustee Raff moved, seconded by Trustee Forrest, that the meeting be adjourned to Monday October 25, 1965 at 8 :00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. The adjourned meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Monday, October 25, 1965 at 8:07 p.m. The clerk called the roll and reported the following were Present: H. Ross Finney, President Raymond L. Craig Charles H. Raff George P. Schleicher Ellis W. Smith James M. Wetzel Absent: Bernard Forrest and tFvat a quorum was present and in attendnace at the meeting. Also present were Messrs. Rictvrd Houpt, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager. Trustee Forrest entered the meeting at 8 :15 p.m. Discussion was had on revisions to the Sara Lee sewage' agreement proposed by the company. The attorney was directed to prepare the revised agreement, to be sent to the Company for execution Xthis week and to be approved by the Board at the regular meeting on November 1, 1965.
