F °394.3 Village Clerk Official Designation R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N WHEREAS the Village of Deerfield has submitted recommendations for zoning of the National Brick Company and Sheridan Gun Club properties adjoining the said Village; and WHEREAS zoning classifications proposed by the owners of the said properties include Business and 1 -1 industrial classifications, with no residential zoning for any part of the tract; and WHEREAS the westerly part of the tract adjoins; property in the Village which has been developed with attractive residences in the $30,000 - $35,000 price range; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield that the Village opposes the classification of that part of the National Brick Company and Sheridan Gun Club properties which lies west of Pfingsten Road extended as a Business and /or industrial district; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be sent to the Hon. Garfield Leaf, County Clerk of Lake County, to the Hon. Karl Berning, Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors, and to the Hon. John F. PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD The undersigned, being the members of the Board of Local Improvements heretofore appointed and now serving in that capacity herewith submit a draft of an ordinance for an improvement on Westgate Road from the east edge of the existing pavement return on Warrington Road to the exist- ing pavement on Westgate Road and from the west edge of the existing pavement on Oxford Road to the existing pavement on Westgate Road, by grading, draining, and paving with macadam and bituminous wearing surface, including curb and gutter, sidewalks, and storm sewers, all in the Village of Deerfield, County of Lake and State of Illinois. We submit herewith an estimate of the cost thereof by the Prdsident and Board of Local Improvements; said esti- mate includes the cost of engineering and inspection and the cost of making, levying, and collecting a special assessment therefor. We recommend the passage of the said ordinance and the making of said improvement, the cost thereof to be paid for by special assessi;en.ts. Dated this day of 960. Hovland Is First Addition to Deerfield, being a Subdivision of part of the Southwest quarter of Section 32, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd P.M. according to the plat thereof re- corded November 7, 1924 as Document 248380 in Book, "N" of plats Page 56, in Lake County, Illinois, desires to have apportioned the presently existing installments of Special Assessment No.90, for the installation of trunkline sewers and treatment plant, grading and paving and water mains so that each parcel of said Lot shall bear its just and equitable proportion thereof and has presented to the vill- age of Deerfield, Illinois, a petition therefor, in accord- ance with and as provided by Section 371 of Chapter 120 of the Revised Statutes of Illinois, 1959, entitled "Revenue ".
