A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was
called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on
Monday, March 5, 1979 at 8:10 p.m. The secretary called the roll and reported that
the following were
Present: Bernard Forrest, President
D. Jeffrey Blumenthal
Norma Gavin
Jerold L. Heisler
Cynthia J. Marty
Edwin B. Seidman
Vernon E. Swanson
Absent: None
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were
Messrs. James Stucko, representing the Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Mrs. Gavin moved, seconded by Mr. Seidman, that the minutes of the feeting held
February 19, 1979 be approved as submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
Adhering Resolution S/A 115
Elm St. Improvements
consisting of the constructioi
sewer and otherwise improving
by the President. Adopted by
Mr. Heisler moved, seconded by Mrs. Marty,
that the Resolution be adopted adhering to
the estimate and cost of a local improvement
i of concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm
Elm Street, Special Assessment No. 115, as certified to
the following vote:
Ayes: Blumenthal, Gavin, Heisler, Marty, Seidman, Swanson (6)
Nays: None (0)
Recommendation- Passage of Mr. Swanson moved, seconded by Mr. Seidman,
Ordinance S/A 115 that the Board of Local Improvements recom-
mend the passage of an Ordinance for the
improvement of Elm Street together with the Estimate of cost of such improvement in-
cluding that portion of cost to be paid for with a Federal Grant of Assistance, the
ordinance and estimate attached thereto.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further bsiness to come before the Board of Local Improvements,
on mction by Mr. Seidman and seconded by Mrs. Marty, the meeting was adjourned at
8:15 p.m.
