A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village
Hall on Monday, September 18, 1978, at 8:40 P.M. The acting secretary
called the roll and reported that the following were:
Present: Bernard Forrest, President
D. Jeffrey Blumenthal
Norma Gavin
Jerold L. Heisler
Cynthia J. Marty
Edwin B. Seidman
Vernon E. Swanson
Absent: None
and that a quorum was presentL and in attendance at the meeting. Also present
were James Stucko, representing the Village Attorney, and Norris W. Stilphen,
Village Manager.
Mr. Blumenthal moved, seconded by Mrs. Marty, that the minutes
of the meeting of the Board of Local Improvements held September 5, 1978, be
approved, as corrected (motion to adjourn seconded by Trustee Seidman).
Motion carried unanimously.
Approve Voucher #6, S/A 114 Mr. Blumenthal moved, seconded by
Kates Road Improvement - Mrs. Gavin, that the issuance of
C & L Paving, $83,590.T2 Voucher #6 be approved in the amount
of $83,590.72 to C & L Paving Company
for work completed on the Kates Road Improvement, Special Assessment #114.
Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Blumenthal, Gavin, Heisler, Marty, Seidman, Swanson (6)
Nays: None (0)
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improve-
ments, on motion of Mrs. Gavin, seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, the meeting
was adjourned at 8:47 P.M.
