A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was called
to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Monday, March 6,
1978 at 8:07 p.m. The secretary called the roll and reported that the following were
Present: Bernard Forrest, President
D. Jeffrey Blumenthal
Norma Gavin
Jerold L. Heisler
Cynthia J. Marty
Edwin B. Seidman
Vernon E. Swanson
Absent: None
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were Messrs.
James Stucko, representing the Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Resolution -Award Contract Mr. Seidman moved, seconded by Mr. Blumenthal, that
C & L Paving Co. $234,531 a Resolution be adopted accepting the low bid
Kates Rd. Improvement S/A 114 submitted by C & L Paving Company in the amount of
$234,531.00 for Kates Road improvements, Special
Assessment No. 114, the contract for said improvement to be signed ten days after
publication. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Blumenthal, Gavin, Heisler, Marty, Seidman, Swanson (6)
Nays: None (0)
The Resolution was signed by the President.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improvements,
on motion by Mrs. Marty and seconded by Mr. Swanson, the meeting was adjourned at
8:10 p.m.
