August 15, 1977
A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was called
to order by the secretary, in the absence of the President, in the Council Chambers of the
Village Hall on Monday, August 15, 1977 at 8:00 p.m. The secretary called the roll and
reported that the following were
Present: D. Jeffrey Blumenthal
Norma Gavin
Jerold L. Heisler
Cynthia J. Marty
Edwin B. Seidman
Vernon E. Swanson
Absent: Bernard Forrest, President
and a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were Messrs.
James Stucko, representing the Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Mr. Blumenthal moved,. seconded by Mrs. Gavin, that Mr. Swanson be appointed
President pro tem. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Seidman moved, seconded by Mrs. Gavin, that the Board authorize publication
of Notice for Bids, Special Assessment No. 113, in the August 25th and September lst,
1977 issues of the Mail Advertiser. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Blumenthal, Gavin, Heisler, Marty, Seidman, Swanson (6)
Nays: None (0)
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improvements,
on motion by Mrs. Marty and seconded by Mr. Heisler, the meeting was adjourned at 8:05
p.m.
