04/19/1976April 19, 1976 A meeting of the Board'of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Monday, April 19, 1976 at 8:23 p.m. The secretary called the roll and reported that the following were Pfesent: Bernard Forrest, President D. Jeffrey Blumenthal Norma Gavin Cynthia J. Marty Edwin B. Seidman Daniel H. Stiehr Vernon E. Swanson Absent: None and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were Messrs. James Stucko, representing the Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager. Originating Resolution The Resolution was presented and read in S/A 113 - Waukegan & full originating a local improvement,con- Northwood Improvements sisting of construction of sidewalk, R -BLI -1 sanitary and storm sewers and otherwise improving a portion of Waukegan Road and Northwoods Drive. Decision was made to hold a public hearing on the question of making the improvement on May 24, 1976. Mr. Stiehr stated there is no intersection of Waukegan Road and the Mil- waukee Road tracks. Waukegan Road intersects with Telegraph-Road which has been dedicated although there is only a pedestrian crossing at the railroad tracks. Mrs. Marty moved, seconded by Mrs. Gavin, that the Resolution be adopted subject to correction of the legal description of the scope of the improvement. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Blumenthal, Gavin, Marty, Seidman, Stiehr, Swanson (6) Nays: None (0) The President and members signed the Resolution. There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improve- ments, on motion by Mrs. -Marty and seconded by Mr. Seidman, the meeting was adjourned at 8 :30 p.m. Secretary APPROVED: 1 l_ J 1
