A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was called
to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Monday,
December 17, 1973 at 8:10 p.m. The secretary called the roll and reported that the
following were
Present: Bernard Forrest, President
Albert E. Brust
Norma Gavin
George Kelm
Walter H. Moses, Jr.
Werner E. Neuman
Daniel H. Stiehr
Absent: None
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were
Messrs. James Stucko, representing the Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Authorize Execution- Contract The contract with Zera Construction Company for
Zera Const. Wilmot Improvements the construction of Wilmot Road curb and sidewalk,
S/A 111 Special Assessment No. 111,;at a cost of $26,016
was discussed. It was noted that no completion
date had been included, nor had the insuring company for Workmen's Compensation In-
surance been entered.

N ays: None (0)
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improvements,
on motion by Mr. Stiehr and seconded by Mr. Kelm, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.

Mr. Stiehr moved,
seconded by Mr,.._Kelm, that the President
be authorized to execute
the contract with Zera
Construction Company, adding to Article II
that completion of the
work shall be 120 days
after starting, the name of the insurance
company to be provided
before work is started,
and the bond submitted with the Contract
be approved. Adopted
by the following vote:
Ayes: Brust, Gavin, Keltp, Moses, Neuman, Stiehr '(6)
N ays: None (0)
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improvements,
on motion by Mr. Stiehr and seconded by Mr. Kelm, the meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
