A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of. the Village of Deerfield
was called to order in the Council Chambers of .the Village Hall on Monday,
February 22, 1971 at 8:10 p.m. The secretary called the roll and reported
the follo *ing were
Present: Charles R. Bootz
George Kelm
George P. Schleicher
Stephen M. Slavin
M. Jay Turner, Jr.
Absent: Bernard Forrest, President
and that a quorum was present and in at.tendance.at the meeting.. Also present were
Messrs. Richard Houpt, Village attorney,. and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Mr. Slavin moved, seconded by.Mr.. Turner, that Mr. Bootz be appointed
President pro tem. Motion carried unanimously.
Resolution -S /A 110 Mr. Kelm moved, seconded by Mr. Turner,
Wilmot Sidewalk that the resolution be adopted providing for
Hearing 3/15/71 the construction of sidewalks, curb and gutter
and drainage on Wilmot Road and part of
Berkley Court, Special Assessment No. 110, a public hearing on said improvement
to be held at 8:00 p.m. on March 15, 1971. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Bootz, Kelm, Schleicher, Slavin, Turner (5)
Nays: None (0)
The resolution was signed by members of the Board of Local Improvements.
Appoint Henry Uteg. The Village attorney reported that Mr. Philip
Depty Com. S/A 1.10 Cole was unable to serve as Deputy Commissioner
-s of Special Assessment No. 110. Mr. Slavin
moved, seconded by Mr. Kelm, that Mr. Henry Uteg be appointed Deputy Commissioner
of Special Assessment No. 110. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Bootz, Kelm, Schleicher, Slavin, Turner (5)
Nays: None (0)
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improve-
ments, on motion by Fir. Turner, seconded by Mr. Schleicher, the meeting was
adjourned at 8:15 P.m.
