A meeting of the Board of..Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was
called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of 'the Village Hall on Monday,
January 4, 1971 at 8:15 p.m. the-Secretary called the roll and reported that the
following were
Present: Bernard Forrest, President
Charles R. Bootz
George Kelm
George P. Schleicher
Stephen M. Slavin
M. Jay Turner, Jr.
Absent: None
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also' present were
Messrs. Richard Houpt, Village 'gttorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Mr. Schleicher moved, seconded by Mr. Turner, that the minutes of the meeting of
the Board of Local Improvements held December 21, 1971 be approved as submitted. Motion
carried unanimously.
Resolution -S /A 110, Wilmot A resolution was presented originating a local
Sidewalk, Curb, Drainage improvement consisting of the construction of
Hearing 2/16/71 concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalks
and the installation of a.storm drainage system
on Wilmot Road north of dreenwood Avenue to Berkley Court and a portion of Berkley Court.
The resolution was read in full.
Mr. Schleicher moved, seconded by Mr. Kelm, that the resolution be adopted,
the public hearing on the question of making the improvement to be held at 8:00 p.m.
on Monday, February 16, 1971 in the Village Hall. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Bootz, Kelm, Schleicher-, Slavin, Turner (5)
Nays: None (0)
The resolution was signed by the President and members of the Board of Local
Improvements.
Appoint B & W Engineers Mr. Schleicher moved, seconded by Mr. Bootz,
P•; Cole Dpty. Comsr. S/A 110 that Baxter and Woodman be appointed engineers
for Special Assessment No. 110, and Mr. Phillip
Cole appointed Deputy Commissioner of Special Assessments.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improvements,
on motion by Mr. Bootz, seconded by Mr. Slavin, the meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
