A meeting of the Board of-Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order by the'President in the:Council Chambers of the'Village Hall
on Monday, April 6, 1970 at 8:10 p.m. The secretary .called the roll and reported
that the following were
Present.: Bernard Forrest, Presidett
Charles R. Bootz
George -P. Schleicher
Stephen M. 81avin
M. Jay Turner, Jr.
Absent: George P. Kelm
and that a quoum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were
Messrs. Richard Houpt, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Approve Bill $837.95 A le.tter.from Charles W. Greengard Associates
A. Ritacca & Sons S/A 108 stated that.the extra bill in the amount of
$837.95 submitted.,b.y.A. Ritacca & Sons covered
the repair of water services at 240 and 244 Kenmore.:AVenue.. The service at 244
Kenmore was constructed by George W. Kennedy Company as part of Special Assessment
No. 107, the second was part of a previous sewer installation. The engineer felt
it was a justifiable-extra and should be approved as an addition to Special Assess-
ment No. 108, Hovland Improvements.
Mr. Schleicher moved, seconded by Mr. Bootz, that payment of $837.95 be
approved to A. Ritacca & Son as an extra under Special Assessment No. 108.
Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes; Bootz, Schleicher, Slavin, Turner (4)
Nays: None (0)
There being no further business to come.before the Board of Local Improve-
ments, on motion by Mr. Slavin-, seconded.by Mr. Schleicher, the meeting was adjourned
at 8:15 p.m.
