A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was
called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on
Monday, August 4, 1969 at 10:07 p.m. The secretary called the roll and reported that
the following were
Present: Bernard Forrest, President
Jayman A. Avery, Jr.
Charles R. Bootz
M. Jay Turner, Jr.
Absent: George Kelm
George P. Schleicher
Stephen M. Slavin
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were
Messrs. Richard Houpt, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Approve Voucher 411 to Mr. Bootz moved, seconded by Mr. Turner, that the
Kennedy Construction S/A 107 issuance of Voucher No. 11 to George W. Kennedy
$36,057.35 Construction Company in the amount of $36,057.35
be approved and execution authorized for work
completed on Hovland improvements, Special Assessment No. 107. Adopted by the following
vote:
Ayes: Avery, Bootz, Turner, Forrest (4)
Nays: None (0)
Approve Voucher 412 to Mr. Turner moved, seconded by Mr. Bootz, that the
Greengard S/A 107 - $180 issuance of Voucher No. 12 to Charles W. Greengard
Associates, Inc., in the amount of $180.00 be
approved and execution authorized for engineering services in connection with Hovland
improvements, Special Assessment No. 107. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Avery, Bootz, Turner, Forrest (4)
Nays: None (0)
There being no further business. to come before the Board of Local Improvements,
on motion by Mr. Turner, seconded by Mr. Bootz, the meeting was adjourned at 10:10 p.m.
