02/17/1969February 17, 1969 A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Monday, February 17, 1969 at 8:20 p.m... The secretary called the roll and reported that the following were Present: H. Ross Finney, President Charles R. Bootz Raymond L. Craig Bernard Forrest Charles H. Raff George P. Schleicher Absent: George Kelm and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present was Mr. Norris Stilphen, manager. Mr. Raff moved, seconded by Mr. Schleicher, that minutes of the meeting of the Board of Local Improvements held February 10, 1969 be approved as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. Adhering Resolution Mr. Bootz moved, seconded by Mr. Schleicher, Hovland Improvements that the Adhering Resolution be adopted S/A 108 approving the estimate of cost for the improvement of portions of certain streets in Hovland Subdivision by the construction of pavement, sidewalks and a drainage system where necessary and adhering to the facts, figures and statements set forth in the estimate. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Bootz, Craig, Forrest, Raff, Schleicher (5) Nays: None (0) The President and all members present signed the Adhering Resolution. Recommendation- Hovland Mr. Bootz moved, seconded by Mr. Raff, that Improvements S/A 108 the Board of .Local Improvements submit an ordinance to the Board of Trustees providing for the construction of improvements consisting of pavement, sidewalks and a drainage system wehre necessary on portions of Fairview, Birchwood, Kenmore, Laurel and Rosewaood Avenues and Gordon Terrace, with an estimate of cost of said improvements, and recommend the passage of said ordinance and the making of the said improvements by the Board of Trustees. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Bootz, Craig, Forrest, Raff, Schleicher (5) Nays: None (0) The President and all members present signed the Recommendation.
