A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order by the President in the'Council Chambers of the Village Hall
on Monday, September 23, 1968 at 8:10 p.m. The secretary called the roll and
reported that the following were
Present: H. Ross Finney, President
Charles R. Bootz
Raymond L. Craig
Berhard Forrest
Charles H. Raff
Absent: George Kelm
George P. Schleicher
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present
were Messrs, Richard Houpt, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Mr. Raff moved, seconded by Mr. Forrest, that minutes of the meeting of
the Board of Local Improvements held September 16, 1968 be approved as submitted.
Motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Forrest moved, seconded by Mr. Bootz, that the bids be referred to
the engineer for review and determination of compliance with specifications
and recommendation. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Bootz, Craig, Forrest, Raff (4)
Nays: None (0)
Mr. Bootz moved, seconded by Mr. Raff, that the meeting be adjourned to
8 :00 p.m., September 30, 1968. Motion carried unanimously, and th a meeting
was adjourned at 8 :30 p.m.
