A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers
of the Village Hall on Monday, December 21, 1964 at 8 :15 p.m. The
secretary called the roll and reported the following were
Present: 1.. K. Hearn, President
James E. Mandler
George P. Schleicher
Ellis W. Smith
James M. Wetze l
Absent: John A. S. Lindemamn
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also
present were Messrs. Byron Matthews, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen,
manager.
Change Order #1 The manager presented Change Order
Greenwood Storm Sewer No. 1 on the Greenwood Interceptor
S/A 101 Storm Sewer project, Special Assess-
ment No. 101, prepared and recommended
by Charles W. Greengard Associates, engineers for the project. He
explained the original paln called for installation of the sewer on
the west side of Wayne Avenue. Since that time, houses have been con-
structed on the west side, and the engineer has recommended that the
sewer be installed on the east side,'in order to avoid disturbing
driveways and lawns. There are no houses on the east side of Wayne
Avenue, and there will be no additional costs. Trustee 'Wetzel moved,
seconded by Trustee Mandler, that Change Order No. 1, Special Assess-
ment No. 101, be approved. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Mandler, Schleicher, Smith, Wetzel (4)
Nays: None (0)
There being no further business to come before the Board of
Local Improvements, on motion by Trustee Wetzel, seconded by Trustee
Smith, the meeting was.-adjourned at 8 :20 p.m.
