A meeting of.the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall
on Monday, April 6, 1964 at 8:15 p.m. The secretary called the roll
and reported the following were
Present: John A. S. Lindemann
James E. Mandler
George P. Schleicher
Ellis W. Smith
James M. Wetzel
Absent: I. K. Hearn, President
and that a quoum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present
were Messrs. Seymour Axelrood, representing the Village "attorney, and
Norris Stilphen, manager.
Mr. Wetzel moved, seconded by Mr. Schleicher, that Mr. Mandler
be appointed President pro tem.
Motion carried unanimously.
lst Resolution - Hazel Ave. A resolution was presented and read
S/A Hearing April 23, 1964 in full providing for the improvement
of Hazel Avenue from Wilmot Road to
Cherry Street by special assessments, said improvements, to consist-of
grading, paving, curb and gutter, storm sewer, water main and appurt-
enances, and setting April 23,.1964 at 8 :00 p.m. as the date for the
public hearing on the question of making the improvement. Mr, Schleicher
moved, seconded by Mr. Smith, that the said resolution be adopted.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local
Improvements, on motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr:. Wetzel,'.,the
meeting was adjourned at 8 :25 p.m.
