A meeting of the Board of Local improvements of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers
of the Village Hall on Monday, February 17, 1964 at 8 :10 p.m. The
secretary called the roll and reported the following were
Present: I. K. Hearn, President
John A. S. Lindemann
James E. Mandler
George P. Schleicher
Ellis W. Smith
James M. Wetzel
Absent: None
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also
present were Messrs. Seymour Axelrood, representing the Village attorney,
and Norris Sti.lpheri, manager.
2nd Resolution - S/A 104 A resolution was presented and read in
Wilmot Water Main full relating to a proposed improvement
consisting of construction of a new water
main on Wilmot Road between Hazel Avenue and Garand Drive, recommending the
Village proceed with the improvement, and the Board of Local Improvements
submit to the Village Board its recommendation together with an ordinance
therefor and an estimate of cost for the improvement by Special Assessment
No. 104.
Mr. Smith moved,.seconded by Mr. Mandler, that the resolution be
adopted. Upon roll call, the resolution was passed by the following vote:
Ayes: Lindemann, Mandler, Schleicher, Smith, Wetzel (5)
Nays: None (0)
Recommendation Signed The recommendation authorized by the above
descri.bed resolution was read in full. Mr.
Mandler moved, seconded by Mr. Smith.,.that execution of the recommendation
be approved. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Lindemann, Mandler, Schleicher, Smith, Wetzel (5)
Nays: None (0)
The recommendation was signed by all members.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local
Improvements, on motion by Mr. Schleicher, seconded by Mr. Mandler, the
meeting was adjourned at 8 :15 P.M.
