A meeting of the Boa rdoof Local Improvements of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers
of the Village Hall on Monday, January 20, 1964 at 8 :20 p.m. The
secretary called the roll and reported the following were
Present: I. K. Hearn, President
John A. S. Lindemann
James E. Mandler
George P. Schleicher
Ellis W. Smith
James M. Wetzel
Absent: None
and that a quoum was present and in attendance at the meeting:. Also
present were Messrs. Seymour Axelrood, representing the Village attorney,
and Norris Stilphen, manager.
2nd Resolution - S/A 103 A resolution was presented and read in
Hovland Improvements _ full relating to proposed improvements
consisting of construction of water mains,
sanitary sewers, storm sewers and drainage improvements, and street improve-
ments on part of Wilmot Road, Kenmore Avenue, Birchwood Avenue, Fairview
Avenue, Rosewood Avenue, Lake -Cook Road, Laurel Avenue and Gordon Terrace,
recommending that the Village proceed with the improvements, and that the
Board of Local Improvements submit to the Village Board its recommendation
together with an ordinance therefor and an estimate of post for the
improvement by Special Assessment Warrant No. 103.
Mr. Lindemann moved, seconded by Mr. Mandler, that the said
resolution be adopted. The resolution was passed by the following vote:
Ayes: Lindemann, Mandler, Schleicher, Smith, Wetzel (5)
Nays: None (0)
The President signed the resolution indicating his approval thereof.
Recommendation Signed The recommendation authorized by the
above described resolution was read in
full, and signed by the members of the Board of Local Improvements.
There being no further business to come before the Boar od Local
Improvements, on motion by Mr. Lindemann, seconded by Mr. Mandler, the
meeting was adjourned at. 8: 25 p.m.
