A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order by the Council Chambers of the Village
Hall on Monday,.December 17, 1962 at 8 :00 p.m. The secretary called
the roll and reported the following were
Present: John F. Aberson
Ira K. Hearn, Jr.
John A. S. Lindemann
Maurice C. Petesch
Absent: David C. Whitney, President
James E. Mandler
Winston S. Porter
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also
present: Messrs. Thomas Matthews, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen,
manager.
Moved by Mr. Aberson, seconded by Mr. Hearn, that Mr. Petesch
be appointed President pro tem. Motion carried unanimously.
Appoint Engineer -Dpty. Com. Mr. Aberson moved, seconded by Mr.
S/A - Wilmot Water Main Hearn, that Baxter and Woodman be
appointed Engineers, and Henry Uteg
be appointed Deputy Commissioner of Special Assessments for the
Wilmot Road water main to be constructed under Special Assessment
procedures.
Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Hearn moved, seconded by Mr. Aberson, that the matter of
constructing sewer and water mains to serve the Congregational Church
in Hovland's Subdivision be tabled until the entire Board is present
for the discussion.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Board of
Local Improvements, on motion by Mr.- Aberson, seconded by Mr. Lindemann,
the meeting was adjourned.
