A meeting of the Boardof Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield
was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village
Hall on Tuesday, September 4, 1962 at 8 :30 p.m. The secretary called the
roll and reported the following were
Present: David C. Whitney, President
John A. S41cUndemann
James E. Mandler
Winston S. Porter
Absent: John F. Aberson
Ira K. Hearn, Jr.
Maurice C. Petesch
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present
were Messrs. Seymour Axelrood, representing the Village attorney; Morris
Stilphen, manager, and Robert Bowen, Building Commissioner.
Discussion was had on the Certificate of Cost and Completion for
Special Assessment No. 96, CentrAl Avenue paving. The manager was directed
to get further information on this matter from the Village attorney.
1st Resolution - Hemlock The first resolution was pnesen.ted :=for
Cedar Lane, Cedar St., Juniper the improvement of Hemlock Street, Cedar
Pine St. Spruce St., and Lane, Cedar Street, Juniper.Terrace, Arbor
Arbor Vitae Improvement Vitae Road, Pine Street and Spruce Street,
recommending the construc.tlonoof the
improvement, approving the estimate of costry: abd setting the date for the
public hearing on the question of making the improvement for September 17,
1962 at 8:00 p.m. Mr. Porter moved, seconded by Mr. Mandler, that the
resolution be adopted. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Lindemann, Mandler, Porter, Whitney (4)'
Nays: None (0)
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local
Improvements, the meeting was adjourned.
