06/04/1962 (2)June 4, 1962 A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall.on Monday, June 4, 1962 at 8:25 p.m. The secretary called the roll and reported the following were Present: David C. Whitney, President John F, Aberson Ira K. Hearn, Jr. James E. Mandler Winston S. Porter Absent: John A. S. Lindemann Maurice C. Petesch and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were Messrs. Thomas Matthews, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager. Moved by Mr. Hearn, seconded by Mr. Aberson, that minutes of the _meeting held May.21, 1962 be approved as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. Approve Final E.stimites Mr. Mandler moved, seconded by Mr. Aberson, that S/A 96, Central Avenue final payment be approved to the amount of $10,070,10 - Contractor $10,070.10 to Eric Bolander Constructc-on for 1,007.01 - Engineer Central Avenue paving, Special Assessment No. 96, and payment also be approved to Charles Greengard in the amount of $1,007.01 for enginee�i:ng;and inspection. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Aberson,. Hearn, Mandler, Porter. (4) Nays: NOne� (0) 1st Resolution - Greenwood Mr. Mandler moved, seconded by Mr. Aberson, that Storm Sewer S/A 93 a resolution be adopted providing for a local improvement consisting of Greenwood storm sewers in accordance with plans prepared by Charles W. Greengard Assocbates dated May 31, 1962, and setting June 18, 1962 as the date for a public hearing on the question. Adopted by the folloa'ing vote: Ayes: Aberson, Hearn, Mandler, Porter (4) Nays: None (0) The manager reported a change in plans had been made in the Greenwood storm sewer project. He also stated plans for the Wilmot Road bridge had been completed by the County, and it was hoped the bridge would be ready when school opens in the fall. There being no further businesseto come before the Board of Local Improvements, the meeting was adjourned. Secretary.
