A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order hn the CounciA Chambers of the Village Hall
on Monday, February 19, 1962 at 8 :00 p.m. with the following members
Present: Ira K. Hearn, Jr.
John A. S. Lindemann
James E. Mandler
Winston S. Porter
Absent: David C. Whitney, President
John F. Aberson
Maurice C. Petesch
being a quorum present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were
Messrs. Thomas Matthews, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Mr. Hearn moved, seconded by Mr. Mandler, that Mr. Porter be appointed
President pro tem. Motion carried unanimously.
A bill was pceseatdd in the amount of $410 from Thomas A. Matthews
for legal services in connection with Special Assessment No. 96, Central
Avenue improvement. Mr. Mandler moved, seconded by Mr. Hearn, that the
bill be approved and a voucher be issued to payment therefor. Adopted by
the following vote:
Ayes: Hearn, Mandler, Lindemann, Porter (4)

There being no further business to come before the Board of Local
Improvements, the meeting was adjourned.
