11/06/1961103' Ayes: Aberson, Hearn, Lindemann,:Mandler, Petesch (5) Nays: None (0) Mr. Bryne McAuliffe requested payment or credit on sewer service charges for $375, this amount being hies cost expended for pipe in correcting the sewer on Mallard Lane. The Manager recommended reimbursement be denied, since the Board had not agreed to the payment at the time the work was done. After discussion of the problem, Trustee Lindemann moved, seconded by Trustee Aberson, that the Board accept the recommendation of the Manager, and no payment be made to Mr. McAuliffe. Motion carried unanimously. Three ordinances recommended by the Building Board of Appeals were presented for action at the next meeting. Trustee Lindemann moved, seconded by Trustee Aberson, that October 24th be proclaimed United Nations Day, and the President be authorized to sign the Proclamation. Motion carried unanimously. gam' Bids - W ling & Stair Two bids were received for construction and Accepted - Garbe - $1067 installation of a stair and railing at the sewage treatment plant, as follows: Schroeder Iron Works $1100 Garbe Iron Co. 1067 After discussion of the need for the stair and railing, Trustee Hearn moved, seconded by Trustee Lindemann, that the bid of Garbe Iron Company be accepted in the amount of $1067. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Aberson, Hearn, Lindemanq, Mandler, Petesch (5) Nays: None (6) Discussion was had on the work load of the Plan Commission, and the urgency of their submission of a list of capital improvements. The Manager was directed to write the Plan Commission requesting such a list. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the meeting was adjourned at 12 :40 A.M.
