The clerk called the roll and reported the following were Present: Joseph W. Koss, President Harold L. Peterson Frank T. Curto Winston S. Porter Arno D. Wehle Absent: John F. Aberson Maurice C. Petesch and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Mr. Thomas Matthews, Village Attorney, and Norris Stilphen, Manager, were also present. Approve Payment $9519.10 The financing of the purchase of the Breitling lot Breitling Parking Lot was discussed, the total price being $95,000 with a cash-payment of $39,519.10 required, to be paid as follows: $30,000 to be assumed by the National Tea Company under a.separate agree- ment' $3,000 as the Chamber of Commerce's contribution; the Village to pay $6,519.10. Trustee Curto moved, seconded by Trustee Peterson, that payment of $9,519.10 into an escrow fund ($3,000 trom Chamber of Commerce, remainder trom Sfiles.Tax) on or'.-before October 5, 1960 for the purchase of the Breitling property, a plat of survey to be -furnished the Village. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Curto, Peterson, Porter, Wehle (4) Nays: None (0) Trustee Wehle moved, seconded by Trustee Portet, "-%hat Mr. Thomas Matthews, Village Attorney, be authorized to enter into an escrow agreement to facilitate closing the sale. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Curto, Peterson, Porter, Wehle (4) Nays: None (0) Mr. Norbert Dompke, of the Bethlehem Church Board, expressed the thanks of the Church for the Board's action, and re- affirmed their contribution of $5,000 to be paid over a ten year period toward the purchase of the Breitling lot. Authorize Building Permit Trustee Peterson moved, seconded by Trustee Wehle, Bethlehem Church that the Building Commissioner be authorized to issue the Building Permit for the Bethlehem Church 300 addition. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Curto, Peterson, Porter, Wehle (4) Nays: None (0) Resolution - Park District Trustee Curto moved, seconded by Trustee Peterson, and Village Re: Lease and that.a.Resolution be adopted authorizing the Sale of Land President and Clerk to sign an agreement between the Deerfield Park District and the Village of Deerfield covering the lease of the house at 921 Wilmot Road to the Village, and the sale of approximately one acre of land at the Village garage site to th3 Park District. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Curto,.-,Peterson;,,Porter, Wehle (4) Nays: None (0) Trustee Porter moved, seconded by Trustee Curto, that execution of the lease and transfer of title as covered in the agreement be authorized.
