Receipt was acknowledged of a letter from Father O'Mara, Holy Cross Church, regarding the request for a driveway from the Church parking lot to Rosemary Terrace. The clerk called the roll and reported the following were Present: Frank T. Curto Harold d. Peterson Maurice C. Petesch Winston S. Porter Absent: Joseph W. Koss, President John F. Aberson Arno D. Deny Santi Rezoning The Plan Commission recommended denial of Mr. Raymond MW- Lot 57, Goldman's Sub. Santi's petition to rezone the Northwest one half of C Lot 57, Goldman's North Shore Golf Links Subdivision from R -6 to B -2 Central Business District. Trustee Porter moved, seconded by Trustee Petesch, that the Board concur in the recommendation of the Plan Commission and the petition be denied. Motion carried unanimously. A 1 "etter was rece -ived from the State Sanitary Water Board, stating the ban on sanitary sewer extensions would not be lifted due to the overloaded sewage treatment plant. The'Manager reported that Mr. Baxter had prepared a reply to this letter, giving the number of houses which would be connected if the ban were lifted, and requesting some relief for sewer connections. Ratify Action - Frost Trustee Peterson moved, seconded by Trustee Porter, .Lot Purchase that the Board ratify actions taken in payments for the Frost lot (Lot 7, Bleimehl's Subdivision) and the change in the agreement with Deerfield Commons Shopping Center which provides for completion of improvements on said lot by July 1, 1961. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Curto, Peterson, Petesch, Porter (4) Nays: None (0) Ordinance - Amending Trustee Peterson moved, seconded by Trustee Petesch, Wilmot Road S/A (0- 60 -25) that the rules be waived to permit the enactment of an ordinance amending the ordinance for the improve- ment of Wilmot Road by special assessment procedure by removing all reference to sidewalks.
