The adjourned meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers
of the Village Hall on Wedriesday,;,June 15, 1960 at 8 :00 P.M. The clerk called
the roll and reported the following were

Frank T. Curto
Maurice C. Petesch
Arno D. Wehle
Also present was Mr. Thomas Matthews, Village Attorney.
The clerk announced she had received sealed bids for the purchase of
the $525,000 sewer improvement bonds authorized at the election held in the
Village on May seventh, 1960. The President directed that the bids be opened
and read to the Board as follows; Trustee Aberson having entered the meeting.

After the bids had been read and considered by the Board, Trustee Porter
presented and read the following resolution:
Be it resolved that the bid of John Nuveen and Company for the purchase
from the Village of the bonds authorized at the election held May 7, 1960, to-
wit:
$525,000 Sewer Improvement Bonds numbered 1 - 525 inclusive, of the
denomination of $1,000 each dated June 1, 1960, interest payable Dec. 1, 1961
and semi - annually thereafter on the first days of June and December of each year,
and due and payable $5,000 - June 1, 1962; $10,000.June 1, each year, 1963 and
1964; $15,000 - June 1, each year 1965 and 1966; $20,000 - June 1, each year,
1967 and 1968; $25,000 - June 1, each year, 1969 to 1971, inclusive; $30,000 -
June 1, each year, 1972 and 1973; $35,000 - June 1, 1974; $40,000 - June 1, each
year, 1975 and 1976; $45,000 - June 1, each year, 1977 to 1980, inclusive,
