The adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees of:,the fl.11age:_of.�-�r
Deerfield was called to order by the Clerk, in the absence of the President,
in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Saturday, April 25, 1959
at 2:30 P.M. The Clerk called the roll and reported the following were
Present: Joseph W. Brown
Carl J. Jaeger
Maurice C. Petesch
Arno D. Wehle
Absent: G. E. Holmquist, President
Joseph W. Koss
Harold L. Peterson
and:that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Mr. Royce
Owens, Village Manager, was also present.
On motion by Trustee Petesch, seconded by Trustee Brown, Trustee
Jaeger was appointed President pro tem.
The Clerk announced that the Jujges of election in each precinct
had duly delievered the ballots, returns and tally sheets in connection
with the election for village officials held on the 21st day of April, 1959.
Canvass Election Trustee Brown moved, seconded by Trustee
Wehle, that the clerk open and read the
return. Motion carried unanimously.
The clerk then opened and read the return which showed the following
votes cast for the persons indicated:

Resolution Trustee Wehle moved, seconded by Trustee
Brown, that the following resolution be
.adopted:
The returns of the election held on the 21st day of April ,1959
having been duly made to the Village Clerk, and having been canvassed
in open meeting;;'
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that JOHN F. ABERSON, MAURICE C.
PETESCH, and WINSTON S. PORTER be declared elected Village Trustees for
the full term of four years.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, on
motion by Trustee'Brown, seconded by Trustee Wehle, the meeting was
adjourned.
