Trustee Brown moved, seconded by Trustee Petesch, that the Board ratify actions taken to date by the Manager, and a summons be issued for failure to pay fees due the village. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Brown, Koss, Peterson, Petesch, Wehle (5) Nays: None (0) Deny Landis Sub. #2 Lanids Subdivision #2 was discussed at length, the Plan Commission having recommended denial. Trustee {Coss moved, seconded by Trustee Brown, that the proposed subdivision be denied due to lots of less than minimum size, and the plat be referred to the Plan Commission for recondideration after recommended changes are made. Ca9 APPROV President Attest: Village Clerk January 28, 1959 The adjourned meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the' President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Wednesday, January 28, 1959 at 9:00 P.M. The C;l:erk called the roll and reported the following were Present: G. E. Holmquist, President Joseph W. Brown Joseph W. Koss Harold L. Peterson Arno D. Wehle Absent: Carl J. Jaeger Maurice C. Petesch and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Mr. Royce Owens, Village Mare ger, and Mr. Thomas Matthews, Village Attorney, were also present. Mrs. Robert Pettis, Editor of the Deerfield Review, Mr. R. F. Gilbert, Mr. Fred Stryker, and Mr. Robert Dimichaelis were also present for all or a part of the meeting. Contract - Bond Financing Mr. Owens, Village Manager, presented and discussed a proposal submitted by A. C. Allyn & Co. and Scott and Kegley, Inc. in connection with financing the cost of improvements to the water system. The proposal set fotth all services to be provided by the two bond houses, including rate studies, bond schedule, legal services, etc. at no cost to the Village. TrLs tee Brown moved, seconded by Trustee Wehle, 124 that the President and Clerk be authorized,to execute the contract on behalf of the Village. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Brown, Koss, Peterson, Wehle (4) Nays:i) None (0) Authorize Attorneyy & Engineer Trustee Peterson moved, seconded by Trustee Re: Bond Issue Koss, that the Village Attorney and the Engineers for the Village be authorized to do whatever work is required in the preparation of the ordinance for the issuance of bonds and such other studies required. Adopted by the following - vote: Ayes: Brown, Koss;,Peterson, Wehle (4) Nays: None (0) Ordinance - Water Rates Trustee Brown moved, seconded by Trustee Wehle, (0-59-10) that an ordinance be adopted setting forth water rates for users of the Village water supply, and minimum monthly charges.for water service, such rates to be effect- ive for all bills submitted after February 1, 1959.. Adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Brown, Koss, Peterson, Wehle (5) Nays: None (0) o There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion by Trustee Koss, seconded by Trustee Peterson, the meeting was a4j.ourned.
