October 22, 1958
A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield was called to order by the Pres.ildent in the Council
Chambers of the Village Hall on Viednesday, October 22, 1958 at 8 :00 P.M.,
pursuant to notice of said special meeting delivered to each Trustee on
October 18, 1958, by order of the President. The Clerk called the roll and
reported the following were
Present: G. Eldon Holmquist, President
Joseph W. Brown
Carl J. Jaeger
Joseph W. Koss
Harold L. Peterson
Arno D. Wehle
Absent: Maurice C. Petesch
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting.
President'HolmgOi t stated the sole purpose of the meeting was to
act on his veto of the award of the contract for the construction of the
County Line Road sewer to E. &. M. Sewer,-Contractors, Mt. Prospect, which
action was taken by the Board of Trustees at the regular meeting held
October 8, 1958.
Award Contract Trustee Brown moved, seconded by Trustee
E. &.M. Sewer Contractors Peterson, that the Board affirm the action taken
previously, and the contract be awarded to
E. M. Sewer Contractors, Mt. Prospect, for the construction of the County
Line Road sewer, including the three ch @nge,-orders prepared by Baxter &
Woodman, Engineers. Upon roll call the following vote was recorded:
Ayes.: Brown, Koss, Jaeger, Peterson, Wehle (5)
Bays: None (0)
Motion carried.
Upon motion by Trustee Peterson, seconded by Trustee Koss, the
meeting was ajourned.
