July 30, 1958
The adjourned meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council
Chambers of the Village Hall on Nednesday, July 30, 1958 at 8 :30 P.M. The
Clerk called the rmll and reported the following were
Present: G. Eldon Holmquist, President
Carl J. Jaeger
Joseph W. Koss
Harold L. Peterson
Absent: Joseph W. Brown
Maurice C. Petesch
Arno D. Wehle
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Mr. Thomas
Matthews; Village Attorney, and Mr. Royce Owens, Village Manager, were also
present.
On motion by Trustee Koss, seconded by Trustee Jagger, teading of
the minutes of the adjourned meeting held July 16, 1958 was di.spensed with,
and the minutes of said meeting approved as submitted.
Appropriation Ordinance The appropriation ordinance for the fiscal year
(0- 58 -33) beginning May 1, 1958 and ending April 30, 1959
was presented by President Holmquist. Trustee
Jaeger moved, seconded by Trustee Peterson, that the annual appropriation
ordinance be adopted. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Jaeger, Koss, Peterson, Holmquist (4)
Nays: None (0)
President'Holmquist reported the Auditor's report for the fiscal year
1957 -58 would be received shortly, and a summary of the report would be
published.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion
by Trustee Peterson, seconded by Trustee Jaeger, the meeting was adjourned.
