A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of
the Village Hall on Uednesday, May 14, 1953 at 10:30 P.M., all members being
present and notice of said meeting being waived. The Clerk called the roll
and reported the following were
Present: G. Eldon Holmquist, President
Joseph W. Brown
Carl J. Jaeger
Joseph t-J. Koss
Harold L. Peterson
Maurice C. Pe tesch
Arno D. l-Jeh 1 e
Absent: None
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting.
President Holmquist stated the meeting had been called for the purpose
of correcting the zoning map of the Southeast Quadrant to conform with the
map approved by the Board at the Appil 30th, 1958 adjourned meeting. He
further stated the instant action was being taken upon the advice of Mr. Thomas
It. Matthews, Village Attorney.
The action taken at thr April 30th meeting, upon notion by Trustee Brown,
approved Trustee Koss' zoning report and the zoning map, except that the R -2
zoned strip along l:aukegan Road was reduced to 190 feet width, measured from
the center line of l-Jaukegan Road.
President Holmquist directed that a copy of Trustee Koss' report be
placed on file in the office of the Village Clerk.
Trustee Brown moved, seconded by Trustee 1-!ehle, that the zoning map
be corrected to agree with the map approved at 't'he April 30th meeting, and
the corrected map be made a part of the ordinance effectuating rezoning in
the Southeast Cuadrant of the Village. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Brown, Jaeger, Peterson, Petesch, Wehle (5)
;ays: Koss (0)
Mr. and Mrs. Mercurio, Mr, and Mrs. Peet, and Mr. Kates were present,
and raised no objection, although invited to participate in the discussion.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion
by Trustee Peterson, seconded by Trustee Pttesch, and carried unanimously, the
meeting was adjourned.
