The a0journed meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of
the Village Hall on Monday, July 23, 1956 at 8:10 t.M. The Clerk called the
roll and reported that the following were
Present: John D. Schneider, President
Martha White Clark
Carl J. 'Jaeger
Hubert N. Kelley
Raymond T. Meyer
Maurice C. fetesch
Absent: Joseph W. Brown
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting.
Bids --Village Hall The Clerk opened and read bids for the construction
of a new Municipal Building, as follows:

Appropriation Ordinance Trustee Jaeger moved,
seconded by Trustee Meyer, that
beginning May.l, 1956,
the Appropriation
and ending April
Ordinance for the fiscal year
30, 1957 be enacted. Adopted by the
following vote:

Kelley, Meyer,

Approve Birchwood The Plan Commission recommended approval of
Subdivision Birchwood Subdivision (formerly called L.W.R.
Subdivision) in July, 1955, the Village Board
approving said Subdivision subject to posting bond. Trustee Clark moved,
seconded by Trustee Kelley, that the Board again approve Birchwood Sub-
division, subject to compliance with the conditions outlined in the
letter from Birchwood Builders dated July 19, 1956, and posting bond within
thirty days. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: glark, Jaeger, Kelley, Meyer, Petesch (5)
Nar: None (0)
Authorize Plans and Specs. Trustee Clark moved, seconded by Trustee Meyer,
Walnut, Wayne, Hazel Paving thatplans and specifications be prepared for the
improvement of Walnut from Woodward to Wayne,
Wayne from the Union Drainage Ditch to Hazel, and Hazel from Wayne to the
Union Drainage Ditch. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Clark, Jaeger, Kelley, Meyer, Petesch (5)
Nays: None (0)
There being no further business to come before the meeting, on motion
by Trustee Kelley, seconded by Trustee Jaeger, the meeting was adjourned.
