A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
REGARDING A PUBLIC HEARING UNDER THE TAX INCREMENT
ALLOCATION REDEVELOPMENT ACT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION In accordance with the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act
ONE: (the "Redevelopment Act "), 65 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/11 -74.4, the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village shall hold a public
hearing concerning the amendment of the "Village of Deerfield
Redevelopment Plan, Village Center Project Area, September 1992."
The public hearing shall be held at the regular meeting of the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village to be held on November 3, 1997,
at 8:00 p.m., at the Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road in the Village or,
at the next subsequent meeting of said Board of Trustees if timely
notice of the November 3, 1997 hearing date is not provided in the
manner required by the Redevelopment Act.
SECTION The Village Clerk is authorized and directed to cause notice of the
TWO: public hearing, in the form required by the Redevelopment Act, to be
mailed and published in the manner required by the Redevelopment Act.
SECTION The existing redevelopment plan and the proposed amendment thereto
THREE: are available for public inspection at the office of the Village Clerk.
SECTION This resolution shall take effect immediately.
