THE EMPLOYMENT OF BAXTER
AND WOODMAN, CIVIL AND
SANITARY ENGINEERS, FOR
THE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
REQUIRED TO ASSIST THE
VILLAGE IN THE HANDLING OF
SUBDIVIDERS CONSTRUCTION
DURING INTERIM PERIOD UNTIL
REGULARLY EMPLOYED VILLAGE
PERSONNEL CAN TAKE OVER
OPERATION
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois,
desiring to have,Richard M. Baxter and Lorrin E. Woodman, co-
partners doing business as Baxter and Woodman, Civil and Sanitary
Engineers, provide the professional engineering services required
to assist the Village in the handling of Subdividers Construction
until such time as regularly employed Village Personnel can take
over this operation.
NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, that Baxter and
Woodman,Civil and Sanitary Engineers, be and they are hereby
instructed to provide said service. Service is to be provided on
the basis of cost plus 20% when the work is done on a regular
basis plus $0.09 per mile for travel. Cost is intended to be
salary and otherfout of pocket expenses of the engineers and has
been estimated at approximately $3.67 per hour. When short
period inspections are required a per diem figure will be used
to cover costs. Engineers per diem is cost plus 100 %. Work on
the per diem basis will only be done upon instruction from the
Village Manager.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be and
(remain in full force and effect from and after its passage.
