VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS ORDINANCE NO. 0 -10 -04 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE FILING OF A TENTATIVE ANNUAL BUDGET OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD AND FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION AND HEARING THEREON BE TT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, in the exercise of its home rule powers, as follows: SECTION 1: That the tentative annual budget of the Village of Deerfield for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2010 and ending April 30, 2011 as prepared by the Budget Officer and submitted to the President and Board of Trustees in pamphlet form, shall be placed on file in the office of the Village Manager on or before March 5, 2010, and shall remain on file and be made conveniently available for public inspection during normal business hours from 8 :00 o'clock a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on any business day for a period of ten (10) days after the initial filing thereof and thereafter until further order of this Board. SECTION 2: That a public hearing shall be held on said tentative annual budget at 7:30 o'clock p.m. on April 5, 2010 in the Board Room of the Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois. SECTION 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to publish in the March 4, 2010 edition of Deerfield Revieiw, a newspaper of general circulation in the Village, a notice of public hearing on the tentative annual budget in substantially the form attached hereto as Exhibit A. SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law. PASSED this 1st day of March 2010.
