Abating All of the 2008 Tax Levy Requirements
For the Series 2003 General Obligation Refunding Bonds
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE: That the County Clerk of Lake County and the County Clerk of Cook County are
hereby authorized and directed to abate the amounts set forth below of the tax theretofore provided
for and levied in Ordinance 0 -03 -05 passed February 3, 2003, copies of which have been filed with
the respective County Clerks, providing for a levy for the following accounts of the Debt Service
Fund of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois:

General Obligation Refunding Bonds - Series 2003 $482,365
SECTION TWO: That the Village of Deerfield has an hand sufficient funds from water revenues
to pay the total tax levied by the above described Ordinance for said purpose for the fiscal year
commencing May 1, 2008; therefore a reduced tax levy is appropriate.
SECTION THREE: 'I'hat the Village Clerk is hereby directed to file certified copies of this
Ordinance with the County Clerks of Lake and Cook Counties.
SECTION FOUR: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from its passage and
approval, as provided by law.
