RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AWARD OF A CONTRACT FOR THE PROJECT
DESCRIBED AS IMPROVEMENTS TO:
ACCESS AVENUE SOUTH OF DEERFIELD ROAD TO JEWETT PARK DRIVE
JEWETT PARK DRIVE ACCESS AVENUE TO PARK AVENUE
PARK AVENUE DEERFIELD ROAD TO NORTH OF HAZEL AVENUE
PETERSEN LANE DEERFIELD ROAD TO JEWETT PARK DRIVE
DEERFIELD ROAD EAST OF PETERSEN LANE TO PI,RK AVENUE
PROJECT NO. M- 6003(533)
SECTION NO. 85- 00059 -00 -FP

IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 938, 367.50
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield is desiring to improve the
above described project;
WHEREAS, the Illinois Department of Transportation has received
bids for the ab)ve described project and there ;s an appt.rent low
bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois as
follows:
Section 1: That the Village of Deerfield hereby accepts the low
bid submitted by Solander Construction
in the amount of $ `'E, 367. 50 to complete the construction of the
project described as imprcvements to Access Avenue - South of
Deerfield Road to Jewett Park Drive; Jewett Park Drive - Access
Avenue to Park Avenue; Park Avenue - Deerfield Road to North of
Hazel Avenue; Petersen Lane - Deerfield Road to Jewett Park
Drive; and Deerfield Road - East of Petersen Lane to Park Avenue,
Project No. M- 6003(533) (Section No. 85- 00059- 00 -FP) in accor-
dance with the plans and specifications thereof, subject to the
approval of PACE, METRA, the Illinois Department of Transporta-
tion, and the Federal Highway Administration.
Section That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval in the manner and
form required by law.
