WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Deerfield Cemetery
Association no longer desire to operate and maintain the
Deerfield Cemetery located in Lake County, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the Village of
Deerfield to have the Cemetery operated and maintained in a
professional manner; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield agree to accept the operation and maintenance of
the Deerfield Cemetery:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS that the operation, maintenance and financial manage-
ment of the Deerfield Cemetery be accepted by the Village of
Deerfield.
