DISSOLVING THE SPECIAL TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT
FOR THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AND PROJECT -
LAKE COOK ROAD REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA NO. 1
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield,
Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois (hereinafter
referred to as "Village "), adopted tax increment financing for the redevelopment project area
commonly described as the Lake Cook Road Redevelopment Project Area No. 1 (hereinafter
referred to as the "Area ") in March, .1982, which Area is legally described in Exhibit "A"
attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Village adopted tax increment financing in respect to a Redevelopment
Plan and Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan ") for the Area which included as funding
sources State and local sales tax increment and real estate tax increment; and
WHEREAS, the goals and objectives of the Plan have now been fulfilled; and
WHEREAS, all redevelopment project costs, including without limitation all municipal
obligations financing redevelopment project costs, incurred by the Village in accordance with the
Act, will be paid prior to the dissolution date; and
WHEREAS, the Village Treasurer will distribute and pay to the Cook and Lake County
Collectors, the Illinois Department of Revenue and the Village General Fund, all surplus funds
remaining in the Special Tax Allocation Fund after all project costs and all obligations issued to
finance such costs have been paid in accordance with the provisions of 65 ILCS 5/11- 74.4 -8 of
the Illinois Compiled Statutes.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Board of the Village of
Deerfield, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois:
Section One: That the Village will pay prior to the dissolution date all
redevelopment project costs incurred by the Village, retire all obligations issued by the Village to
finance such costs and will distribute any excess monies in accordance with law.
Section Two: The Village hereby dissolves the Special Tax Allocation Fund of
the development project area and terminates the designation of the redevelopment project area as
a redevelopment project area effective on December 31, 2004.
Section Three: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward a
copy of this Ordinance to the County Clerks of Cook County and Lake County, Illinois
Section Four: That this Ordinance shall be in, full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
Section Five: That all other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this
Ordinance are hereby repealed.
