Abating a Portion of the 2003 Tax Levy Requirements
For the Series 2002 General Obligation Refunding Bonds
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the County Clerk of Lake County and the County Clerk of Cook
ONE: County are hereby authorized and directed to abate the amounts set forth
below of the tax theretofore provided for and levied in Ordinance 0 -01 -49
passed December 17, 200 1, as amended by the "Certificate of Abatement Regarding General
Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2002, of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois" dated January 4,
2002, copies of which have been filed with the respective County Clerks, providing for a levy for
the following accounts of the Debt Service Fund of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook
Counties, Illinois:

SECTION That the Village of Deerfield has on hand sufficient funds from tax proceeds
TWO: to pay a portion of the total tax levied by the above described Ordinance for
said purpose for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2003, therefore a
reduced tax levy is appropriate.
