AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, a written Petition for Annexation under oath was filed by Walgreen Co., as the
owner of record of certain territory hereinafter described in Exhibit A hereto with the Village Clerk
requesting that said territory be annexed to the Village of Deerfield pursuant to the terms of a certain
Annexation Agreement entered into by the Owner and the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, said territory is currently unincorporated but is contiguous to the boundaries of
the Village of Deerfield as described and depicted in Exhibit B, the Plat of Annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Owner of said territory has entered into an Annexation Agreement with the
Village of Deerfield whereby the Village of Deerfield has agreed to annex said territory upon certain
terms and conditions to the Village of Deerfield.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That all, the territory legally described on Exhibit A and Exhibit B, rights -of-
ONE: way of all included and adjoining streets and highways as shown on said
accurate map of such territory, be and the same are hereby annexed to the
Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, subject to the terms and provisions of the
Annexation Agreement.
SECTION That the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield is hereby directed to file in
TWO: the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, being the County
in which said annexed territory is situated, a copy of this Ordinance together
with an accurate map-of the territory hereby annexed.

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
THREE: approval and when a copy thereof with an accurate map is recorded in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds, Lake County, Illinois, thereupon said
territory shall be subject to the jurisdiction and ordinances of the Village of Deerfield.
