AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND
TO THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, a written Petition for Annexation under oath was filed by Gregg Szilagyi and
Randi Szilagyi (hereinafter referred to as "Owners ") as the owners of record of certain territory
hereinafter described in Exhibit A hereto (the "Plat of Annexation ") with the Village Clerk
requesting that said territory be annexed to the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, said territory is currently unincorporated, but is contiguous to the boundaries
of the Village of Deerfield as described and depicted in Exhibit A.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That all the territory legally described on Exhibit A, the Plat of Annexation,
ONE: attached hereto and made a part hereof and the full right of way of all included
and adjoining streets as shown on said accurate map of said territory, be and
the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois.
SECTION That the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield is hereby directed to file
TWO: in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, being the
County in which said territory is situated, a copy of this Ordinance, together
with the Plat of Annexation at the Owner's expense.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
THREE: and approval and when a copy thereof with the Plat of Annexation is recorded
in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds, Lake County, Illinois, thereupon said
territory shall be subject to the jurisdiction and ordinances of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois.
AYES: Harris, Heuberger, Ragona, Rosenthal, Seiden (5)
NAYS: None (0 )
ABSENT: Swanson (1)
