A RESOLUTION REGARDING ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MATTERS
EVER TO COME BEFORE THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the serious nature of the matter before the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, is
of such importance to the future well -being of the residents; and
WHEREAS, this matter is so unique it can not be classified in the manner
normally reserved for our ordinary Resolutions:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
We all love the BEARS, especially Walter Payton
And for Twenty -Two years, everybody's just been waitin'
For Walter and the team to get their act together
Now in Nineteen Eighty -Six, we finally got BEAR weather!
Since we're the Board, not the Bears, and we really can't sing
We will pass this Resolution, as the very next best thing.
You amused us with the Shuffle.... you're really on a roll!
Now, with your talent and your muscle ... just win the Superbowl!
Then for your next recording, you can REALLY dance and sing..
For that performance so rewarding...Getting WALTER HIS NEW RING!!!
