R-86-06
RESOLUTION NO. R -86 -06 WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield is a Home Rule Community exercising Home Rule powers pursuant to the State of Illinois Constitution of 1970; and WHEREAS, the Village holds title to certain tracts and parcels of real estate located within the corporate limits of the Village, which real estate is commonly known as the Carlisle /Carriage Way Property and which is legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the Village has determined that the property is no longer of use to the Village and desires to convey said property to the Deerfield Park District, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, an Illinois municipality pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 30, Section 156, et se q., Ill.Rev.Stat.; and WHEREAS, the Village will receive in return from said Deerfield Park District certain real property commonly known as the Haugh /Park District Property legally described on Exhibit B attached hereto and made a part hereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the Mayor and Village Clerk be d ONE: a certain Joint Agreement between the Deerfield Park District providing for exchange of the parcels of real estate described in hereto, respectively. SECTION That the Mayor and TWO: execute a deed for Exhibit A attached Deerfield Park District. AND BOARD OF COUNTIES, irected to execute Village and the the transfer and Exhibits A and B Village Clerk be authorized to the parcel legally described in hereto conveying said parcel to the SECTION That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed to THREE: file a certified copy of the foregoing Resolution with the County Clerk of Lake County, Illinois upon its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
