JKS 253402 vl November 17, 1999 ORDINANCE NO. 0 -99- 4 8 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL USE IN P -I PUBLIC LANDS DISTRICT - MITCHELL PARK WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield has heretofore held a public hearing on the application of the Deerfield Park District and the Village of Deerfield (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Applicant ") to authorize the development and use of certain real estate described on Exhibit A attached hereto and zoned in the P -1 Public Lands District, for an Amendment to Special Use to permit the construction of an underground storage reservoir, a new pumping station, relocated tennis courts and related utility improvements, all in accordance with the .applicable provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; WHEREAS, said hearing was held pursuant to duly published notice thereof and was in all respects held according to law; WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has recommended approval of said application; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield have determined that the best interests of the Village will be served by. the authorization and granting of said Amendment to Special Use in accordance with the site plan and landscape plan prepared by Baxter and Woodman dated August 23, 1999, and the pumping station elevation prepared by Burnidge Cassell Associates dated October 13, 1999 all as presented by Applicant and marked as Exhibit B (collectively the "Improvement Plan ") and attached hereto and made a part hereof. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby affirmatively find that the ONE: Amendment to Special Use, as hereby authorized, fully complies with the requirements and standards set forth in the applicable provisions of the Village Zoning Ordinance, and the Amendment to Special Use of the real estate, as and for the purposes of the construction of an underground storage reservoir, a new pumping station, relocated tennis courts and related utility improvements all as set forth on Exhibit B, be and the same are hereby authorized and'approved subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth.
