AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF A
CERTAIN STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, after due
investigation and consideration, have determined that the nature and extent of the public use and the
public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation of a portion of the alley hereinafter
described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION That a public alley in the Village of Deerfield having heretofore been
ONE: dedicated by a document recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, which portion of said alley is legally described
on Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereof, as shown on and designated by the words "Alley
Hereby Vacated" on the Plat hereto attached, which Plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part of
this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed, inasmuch as the same is no longer
required for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation.
SECTION That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance, the Village Clerk shall

Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with the Plat hereto
attached.

Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the East line of Waukegan Road with the South line of
Lot 3 in Owner's First Addition in Deerfield a Subdivision of part of the North Half of
Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian; Thence
Easterly along the South line of Lots 2, 3, 4 and 5 in said Subdivision 372.21 feet to the
