AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22, ARTICLE 17
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Chapter 22 of the Municipal Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1975
ONE: as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding a new
Section 22 -145A entitled "State registration" as follows:
"Section 22 -145A. "State registration"
No person shall operate a vehicle nor permit the operation of a vehicle upon
which is displayed an Illinois registration plate, plates or registration stickers
after the termination of the registration period for which issued or after the
expiration date. Any person found to be in violation hereof shall be fined
twenty -five dollars ($25.00) therefor."
SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in
TWO: pamphlet form.
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the
THREE: extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
FOUR: approval and publication as provided by law.
